Drummer Geon-il of boy band Xdinary Heroes has left the group amid personal life controversies. As a result, the fan meeting scheduled for next month has also been cancelled.

On the 14th, agency JYP Entertainment (hereinafter JYP) announced, "After careful deliberation regarding Xdinary Heroes' scheduled events, we have decided to unavoidably cancel 'Xdinary Heroes 3RD FANMEETING THE X-TOWN,' which was planned to take place from September 18 to 20 at Korea University Hwajeong Gymnasium."

The agency further stated, "Xdinary Heroes' future activities, excluding the fan meeting, will proceed smoothly according to existing plans. We sincerely apologize for delivering this sudden news to fans who have waited and looked forward to the fan meeting for a long time."

Previously, on the 13th, JYP announced Geon-il's departure and termination of his exclusive contract, explaining, "We deeply recognize the seriousness of the situation regarding Geon-il and engaged in thorough discussions with the artist from multiple angles."

Recently, Geon-il became embroiled in personal life controversies after a person claiming to be his former girlfriend publicly released messenger conversations and call recordings with an individual believed to be Geon-il. The content included instances where Geon-il allegedly used profanity toward certain fans and expressed dissatisfaction with the members, causing shock.

As the controversy spread, Geon-il clarified via a fan communication platform, "The targets of my emotional remarks were some malicious fans who hid behind anonymity to indiscriminately criticize us or invade our privacy."
