Singer Kim Dong-ryul will take the stage at the Sejong Culture Center Grand Theater.

Kim Dong-ryul will hold his solo concert, "2026 Kim Dong-ryul Concert 'Old Songs'," at the Sejong Culture Center Grand Theater from October 17 to 19 and from the 22nd to 25, totaling seven performances. Ticket sales begin on September 4 at 5 p.m.

This performance holds special significance for Kim Dong-ryul. It marks his first return to the Sejong Culture Center Grand Theater stage since his solo concert "Old Songs" held in 2019, a span of seven years. With the same venue that once delivered powerful emotional impact and the same title, he will once again connect deeply with audiences, sparking high expectations among music fans even before the event begins.

Notably, this concert is the first time Kim Dong-ryul has attempted an "orchestra-free concert" since his debut, drawing attention to his new musical transformation. Having built a unique brand of performances with rich and majestic orchestral sounds over the years, Kim will boldly break away from his typical style on this stage, focusing instead on a streamlined band arrangement and his voice itself. Based on the performances of his dedicated backing band "Yul Band," which has played alongside him for an extended period, he plans to highlight lesser-known gem songs in a small-scale style that are rarely presented in large ensemble settings, delivering a live performance with even greater intensity.

Kim Dong-ryul's solo concerts have long been renowned for the so-called "picketing war," where all tickets sell out immediately upon release. Consequently, ticket sales starting on September 4 are expected to ignite an even hotter and more intense "ticket war" than ever before.
