Singer-songwriter Lee Seok-won returns to fans with yet another new story.

Munhwain Co., Ltd. announced on the 2nd that Lee Seok-won's EP album "Even Though I Loved You" will be released.

"Even Though I Loved You" is an album that expresses emotions such as awkward love and parting, longing for family, and moments of youth that have been running nonstop — feelings everyone has encountered at least once — through Lee Seok-won's unique sensibility. Through "Even Though I Loved You," Lee Seok-won presents five tracks filled with diverse genre colors based on R&B.

In the title track of the same name as the album, "Even Though I Loved You," Lee Seok-won depicts a heart that calmly lets go of past love while wishing for the other person's happiness even after a breakup. Additionally, he fills the album with various tracks including "Flying Alone," which expresses longing for family and his own growth based on childhood memories with his father; "Brake," which sings about an intense youth life and the hidden wounds within it; "Get Away," which conveys the desire to protect oneself by escaping relationships that cause pain; and "Mon-Tue-Wed-Thu-Fri-Sat-Sun," which captures lingering feelings and waiting for a love that has ended.

In particular, Lee Seok-won participated in writing and composing all tracks on the album, and for "Even Though I Loved You" and "Get Away," he handled lyrics, composition, and arrangement as well, expressing his musical color even more deeply.

Furthermore, Lee Seok-won will meet fans by holding a solo concert titled "Even Though I Loved You, Because I Loved You" to commemorate the album release at Hongdae Vel.R Bell (formerly Belloju) on the 19th at 5 p.m. At this concert, Lee Seok-won is expected to share the stories contained in the album even more deeply.

Lee Seok-won officially debuted after releasing his EP "Suddenly Appearing Melody" in March 2024. Before his debut, he was recognized for his unique musical sensibility and melody-making ability through the SNS content series "Gapdeomeol (Suddenly Appearing Melody)."

Thereafter, through tracks such as "Are We Really Broken Up?", "Residual Scent," "Baby Boat," and "Your Day Without Me," he has proven his wide musical spectrum spanning from R&B-Soul to ballads and medium tempos. Accordingly, the new side of Lee Seok-won shown in this "Even Though I Loved You" is also drawing high expectations from music fans.

Meanwhile, Lee Seok-won's EP album "Even Though I Loved You" will be released at 6 p.m. on the 2nd on all online music platforms.
