Singer Roy Kim will reinterpret the song "Sparkle."

On the 11th at 6 p.m., Roy Kim will release "Sparkle" through various online music platforms.

"Sparkle" is a song performed by the Japanese band RADWIMPS and is one of the representative OSTs from the 2016 Japanese animated film "Your Name." The song, paired with key scenes in the movie, maximized the unique emotions of youth, love, and fate characteristic of the work, leaving a powerful impression. Even now, long after its release, it continues to be steadily loved both domestically and internationally.

This remake preserves the charm of the original while newly completing the song centered on Roy Kim's voice and musical color. The emotional arc of "Sparkle," which begins lyrically and gradually swells, will meet Roy Kim's signature warm and deep vocals, promising a different kind of emotion from the original.

After officially debuting in the music industry in 2013 with "Bom Bom Bom," Roy Kim has steadily been loved through numerous hit songs such as "It's Better to Break Up Then," "Let's Live Well, Us," and "If You Ask Me What Love Is." He has built his own musical world through self-composed songs completed with a warm tone and delicate emotional expression, solidifying his position as a singer-songwriter who possesses both popularity and artistic merit.

This version of "Sparkle" will be presented through the "J-POP REMAKE" project, which reinterprets various music with the voices and sensibilities of domestic artists.
