SEVENTEEN member Hoshi sustained an injury while serving in the military.

On the 12th, Hoshi posted on a fan communication platform: "This is news that may surprise you, so I am sharing it cautiously. While practicing for the Army Performance Team, I injured my knee and underwent an examination, which resulted in a diagnosis of complete rupture of the anterior cruciate ligament."

As a result, Hoshi plans to focus on recovery for some time after surgery. He will also be unable to attend the scheduled taekwondo demonstration event and the Army Festival.

Hoshi added, "I had been eagerly waiting for and looking forward to these stages, and I prepared diligently, so I am very disappointed that I cannot participate. I sincerely apologize to the fans who have waited for me. Although I cannot join them, please continue to support the taekwondo demonstration team and the Army Performance Team, which will be joined by Jihoon (Woozi)."

Previously, Hoshi enlisted in the Republic of Korea Army as an active-duty soldier in September last year and is currently serving as a sergeant in the Army Taekwondo Demonstration Team. His scheduled discharge date is March 15 next year.
