Members of the idol group SEVENTEEN, Seungkwan and Dino, will fulfill their national service obligations.

Seungkwan and Dino are scheduled to enlist together as Army military band members on the 26th.

Previously, management company Pledis Entertainment announced via Weverse, "Seungkwan and Dino are scheduled to enlist as Army military band members on October 26," adding, "Mingyu will fulfill his military service obligation through alternative service starting September 10." The company further stated, "There will be no separate official events on the start date of service or the day of boot camp entry," and requested, "Please refrain from visiting the scene on enlistment day, as the boot camp entry ceremony is an occasion attended by many soldiers and their families. We also ask that you refrain from visiting the alternative service duty station."

Pledis Entertainment conveyed, "All three members will be unable to participate in SEVENTEEN's schedule after their service begins, but we plan to continue meeting our Carats through various pre-prepared content," and added, "We ask for your unwavering love and support so that Mingyu, Seungkwan, and Dino can faithfully fulfill their military service obligations and return in even better health."

With this, SEVENTEEN has entered a complete military hiatus.

Previously, starting with member Jeonghan's enlistment in September 2024, Woonhak began alternative service in April 2025, and Woozi and Hoshi enlisted as active-duty Army soldiers on September 15 and 16, 2025, respectively. Following this, Vernon started alternative service on August 20, and Doyoung enlisted as an active-duty Army soldier on September 8.
