Singer Kim Gun-mo will open a new chapter marking his 35th anniversary of debut by partnering with Music & New, the music business subsidiary of content media group NEW.

Music & New announced on the 26th that, based on its solid partnership with Kim Gun-mo, it plans to actively support his diverse musical activities, including the release of new songs and albums.

Kim Gun-mo is currently working on recording in parallel with his tour performances, aiming for the release of a new album. He plans to continuously expand the scope of music and content he will present in the future together with Music & New.

In July, Kim Gun-mo released the new song "Where Have You Gone?" and garnered significant attention, surpassing 1.6 million views on its music video as of October 2026. The track clearly captured his distinctive vocal tone over the original's lyrical melody, and he presented a new musical direction by playing acoustic guitar himself for the first time since his debut.

Public response to his live stages is also enthusiastic. The "KIM GUN MO." 25-26 Live Tour, which successfully concluded in March this year after he returned to the stage before audiences for about six years, demonstrated unwavering ticket power by selling out all seats at the Busan show and the Seoul Jamsil Indoor Gymnasium immediately after tickets went on sale.

This enthusiasm is being carried over as-is into the currently ongoing nationwide tour "Kim Gun-mo. 35TH ANNIVERSARY LIVE TOUR."

First unveiled in Daegu on the 10th, this performance was an occasion to look back on the musical trajectory built over 35 years and to preview his new steps ahead. The biggest appeal of this tour is cited as reinterpreting and presenting his music with a new instrument, the guitar, going beyond the piano familiar to the public.

Kim Gun-mo will continue non-stop stages in major cities nationwide, including Jeonju on the 31st, Gwangju on December 5, and Goyang on December 26, with the tour scheduled to continue until 2027.
