The Seoul encore performance of 'The Piano Forest Piano Concert,' featuring pianist Choi Hyeong-rok, will be held at 7:30 p.m. on December 13 at the Seoul Kumho Art Hall Yonsei.

According to Nothing But Chill Co., Ltd. on the 6th, this performance is the Seoul encore stage of a tour that followed the first Seoul show in February, with subsequent stops in Busan in August and Daegu and Suwon in October. The initial Seoul concert sold out all seats.

The concert is based on the manga 'The Piano Forest,' which was serialized from 1998 to 2005. The work depicts a genius boy, Ichinose Kai, who discovers music through a piano abandoned in the forest and grows into a Chopin Competition winner under the guidance of his mentor Ajino. It has also been adapted into TV and theatrical anime versions.

Choi Hyeong-rok will perform at this concert, which is the first such event planned outside of Korea. Choi won the piano category at the Sendai International Music Competition in Japan and placed first in the Central Music Competition. He has also participated in the Asia-Pacific Chopin International Piano Competition, the Busoni Competition, and the Long-Thibaud Competition.

An official from Nothing But Chill Co., Ltd. stated, "This encore performance, presented again in Seoul after a nationwide tour, will be the ultimate stage that maximizes the moving power of the original work and the beauty of classical music," adding, "We aim to provide audiences with an unforgettable warmth this winter."
