The Korea Baseball Organization (KBO) will continue its live screening of the KBO League's CGV theater with CJ CGV in 2026.

KBO said on the 16th, "Based on our experience of hosting a new culture of live theater broadcasting from 2024 with CJ CGV, we will show major games of the 2026 Shinhan SOL KBO League live in theaters, including the opening game, two games every week of the regular season, the All-Star game, and all postseason games."

The live broadcast of the regular-season theater will be held every Sunday for two games. The opening weekend, March 28 and 29, will be broadcast live in two games for two days. KT-LG (Jamsil) and Kiwoom-Hanwha (Daejeon) will be screened on the 28th, and KIA-SSG (literature) and Doosan-NC (Changwon) will be screened on the 29th to announce the start of the 'baseball season' in earnest.

The 2026 Shinhan SOL KBO All-Star Game, which will be held on July 11, will also be available in theaters. SCREENX LIVE, a three-page live broadcast that was officially launched last year and received high response with an average audience ratio of about 70%, also plans to continue its regular screening once a month. This year's first SCREENX LIVE will be one of the opening games to be held on March 28. In addition, various events such as viewing parties and fandom broadcasts will provide baseball fans who visit the theater with a different charm than intuition.

The "Monthly CGV Scene-Steeler Award," which selects one person who created a movie-like scene at the KBO League every month and hosts the award, will also continue. The winner selected through fan voting will receive a prize of 1 million won, as well as Cined Chef Movie & DaGift a package of two innings. This year, there is also an event in which fans of the winning team can be selected and participated as presenters.

Details on the live screening and events of CGV theaters in the KBO League can be found through the CGV mobile app and website, and screening and reservation information will be continuously provided through the KBO official channel.
