With super bantamweight world champion Ellie Scottney (28) on the verge of winning the title of four major organizations, her promoter Jake Paul (29) made an unconventional victory pledge.

Britain's "The Sun" reported on the 3rd (local time) that "Paul, a famous YouTuber-turned-boxer and promoter, promised to present her dream car if her player Scottney wins the game and becomes the unified champion."

Scottney, who usually uses the subway and buses to the training ground, wanted a Volkswagen, saying, "I hope it's not a light car, the Fiat 500."

Scottney, who currently holds WBC, IBF and WBO titles, will clash with Mayely Flores on the 5th for the last WBA belt missing from his collection. He has only one win left until he achieves his lifetime goal of becoming the unified champion of the four major organizations.

However, Scottney also delivered a pleasant plan to take a "attribute course" to get his license after the race, with no driver's license yet.

Scottney's challenge this time is all the more meaningful because he has overcome his personal pain. He is playing in honor of his grandmother, who died at the age of 99 in 2023, and his best friend and fellow boxer Georgia Cook O'Connor, who died at 25 last year after battling cancer. "This moment is not just for me, it means a lot more than that," Scottney said, renewing his determination to dedicate victory to the deceased.

Boxing fans around the world are paying keen attention to whether Scottney will be able to write a new history of British boxing at the same time as Paul's pledge to get a G.V.
