T.O.P (real name Choi Seung-hyun), a singer and actor from the group BIGBANG, is facing intense backlash after acknowledging his romance with Nana (real name Im Jin-ah). He finds himself in an unprecedented situation of being turned away by fans who have stood by him for 20 years.

On the 10th, Choi Seung-hyun.com announced its decision to "close" the fan site on its official social media account. This is T.O.P.'s representative fan page, which has been operated for a full 20 years.

They voiced their dissatisfaction with T.O.P and his agency TOPSPOT PICTURES, officially declaring an "end of operations." They stated, "We have determined that we can no longer tolerate T.O.P's and TOPSPOT PICTURES' disregard for reality and evasion of responsibility, as well as their attitude of taking fans' dedication for granted, and therefore we are ending the operation of Choi Seung-hyun.com."

They continued, "Contrary to the phrase 'an album for the fans,' the stages and communication that fans most wanted and waited for were insufficient. From album promotion and promotions to the practical work involved in fan communication and support, they have relied on the voluntary efforts of individual fan sites. The cancellation of the exhibition was an unavoidable decision due to low participation rates and unmanageable operating costs. However, that decision was distorted as 'the actions of fans angry about his romance,' and in our perception, the agency's response placed more weight on the fact that we disclosed reservation status in a notice than on the essence of the problem. Fans' love and support are not something to be used when needed and ignored when inconvenient."

They also conveyed, "We have included the process leading to this decision and the events we personally experienced in the attached statement. Although it is a somewhat long and heavy piece of writing, we ask that you read it to the end. We sincerely thank everyone who has been with Choi Seung-hyun.com all this time."

Choi Seung-hyun.com emphasized, "If distortions of facts or malicious criticism and threats against us continue in the future, we will not back down, no matter who is responsible. Based on the materials and evidence we have preserved, we will answer clearly one by one."

In the lengthy statement attached alongside, they raised their voices, saying, "Finally, a message to T.O.P. We hope you do not isolate yourself among people who only say what you want to hear. Uncomfortable realities do not disappear just because you turn a blind eye. We remember your pledge to repay fans' love now that you have become an adult. What came back to us, who believed those words, was not repayment but resentment."

Meanwhile, T.O.P acknowledged his romance with Nana on the 2nd.
