'Grandson of the Wind' Lee Jung-hoo (28, San Francisco Giants) hit a valuable 10th home run of the season against their National League West rival, the Los Angeles Dodgers. It was a decisive blow that brought down the Dodgers' top ace, Tyler Glasnow (33).

On the 19th (Korea time), Lee Jung-hoo stepped up to the plate as the leadoff hitter in the bottom of the second inning during an away game against the Los Angeles Dodgers at Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles, California. The Giants were trailing 0-1 at the time.

Glasnow, the Dodgers' number one starter, was on the mound. Glasnow mixed a powerful fastball exceeding 96 mph with a sharp knuckle curve to pressure Lee Jung-hoo into a 2-2 count.

But the savior was Lee Jung-hoo. As the fifth pitch, an 81.5 mph (approximately 131.2 km) knuckle curve, came right down the middle, he swung without hesitation. At the moment of contact, the ball soared over the right-field wall and landed directly in the outfield stands. It was a tying solo home run that instantly silenced Dodger Stadium.

With this, Lee Jung-hoo finally reached 10 home runs on the Major League stage, ascending to double-digit territory. In a matchup against their arch-rival Dodgers, he perfectly connected against the opposing ace, firing a highly valuable shot to tie the game at 1-1.
