Professional basketball team Ulsan Hyundai Mobis Phibers (General Manager Park Ki-tae) will strengthen communication with fans in its home region by consecutively participating in the Ji Yeok (CEO) festival.
Hyundai Mobis announced on the 16th that it will participate in the "Ulsan Whale Festival," held over two days from the 17th to the 18th at the Jangsaengpo Whale Culture Special Zone, and subsequently operate a promotional booth at the "Ulsan Run Festa" to be held at the Munsu International Archery Field on the 25th.
At the Ulsan Whale Festival, which marks its 30th anniversary this year, Hyundai Mobis will aim to attract spectators to home games through diverse interactive events. At the promotional booth, a "Timing Game" where participants stop a stopwatch and a "Roulette Event" will be conducted in line with the schedule of upcoming home games. Participating citizens will receive various prizes, including signed balls from players, calendars, and discount coupons for the MD shop.
In particular, the team's official mascots Picky, Bucky, and Byeolkkaru, along with the cheerleading team Phibers Girls and the junior cheering squad Junior Phibers, will join the main parade held on the final day of the festival to boost the atmosphere on site.
Following this, on the 25th, the team will set up a booth at "Ulsan Run Festa," a running and culture festival where approximately 10,000 runners are expected to gather. The team plans to accelerate new fan acquisition by promoting KBL integrated application sign-ups and preferred team registration for citizens visiting the site that day.
Specific details, such as operating hours for each event and how to participate in the events, can be found through the official SNS channels of Hyundai Mobis Phibers.
