The OK Savings Bank U-Men Pro Volleyball Team announced a new beginning toward the 2026-2027 season alongside fans in Busan.

The OK Savings Bank U-Men Pro Volleyball Team said it successfully completed the "2026-2027 Season OK U-Men Pro Volleyball Team Open Match & Pre-Season Rally" at the Busan Gangseo Indoor Gymnasium on the 17th. A total of 1,077 fans visited the venue that day to reaffirm their resolve for the new season alongside the team.

This pre-season rally was organized to express gratitude to fans who have shown passionate support and encouragement since the first season after relocating its home base to Busan last year, and to serve as an official meeting between the team and Busan fans ahead of the new season.

Prior to the main pre-season rally, the OK U-Men volleyball team held an open match against the KEPCO VIXX Tom volleyball team, showcasing the players' preparations for the new season to the fans.

At the official pre-season rally following the open match, after introductions of the head coach, coaching staff, and players, Head Coach Shin Young-cheol and captain Jeon Gwang-in shared their resolve for the new season.

Head Coach Shin Young-cheol said, "When we first met Busan fans last season, thanks to your support as home fans, we were able to achieve good results at home." He added, "This season, along with our players, we will repay your support with even better performance and results."

Jeon Gwang-in, who has taken on the role of captain for the first time, also shared his resolve. "I like the phrase 'the beginning is small, but the end will be great.' The start may be modest, but I believe we can develop further from here," he said. "As the season progresses, we will show better performance and strive to bring you joy with results that surpass last year's."

Players who newly joined this season also delivered their first greetings to Busan fans. New faces including Kim Jung-ho, Kim Do-hoon, Kim Dae-hwan, Noh Jae-wook, Pheas, Russell, and Kim Jun-ho took turns greeting the crowd. During this process, they showcased their hidden talents through a "NEW U-Men Dance Debut," drawing enthusiastic responses from fans. In particular, Russell said, "Last season, when I visited Busan as a player for an opposing team, I was overwhelmed by the incredible cheers and passion of the fans." He continued, "Now, as a member of the OK U-Men volleyball team, I am excited to be able to play while receiving that passionate support. We will show you good form this season."

Following the greetings from the rookie players, a victory-prayer ritual was held with the participation of both the team and fans. The team reaffirmed its determination for the 2026-2027 season while praying for success in the new season alongside the fans. This was followed by various fan-participation programs, including a Q&A session with players and a prize drawing. At the end of the event, the team and fans took commemorative photos together, and the pre-season rally concluded as the team shared "Haifa" (a farewell greeting) with departing fans.

Meanwhile, having completed the pre-season rally, the OK U-Men volleyball team will play its first match at the 2026 KOVO Cup Pro Volleyball Tournament on the 19th, embarking on full-scale preparations for the new season.
