The KIA Tigers crushed the LG Twins 13-1 in Game 3 of the 2026 Shinhan SOL KBO Postseason Junior Playoffs, held on the 20th at Seoul Jamsil Baseball Stadium, to advance to the Playoffs.

Kim Do-young's massive grand slam home run, starting pitcher Shirakawa's outstanding performance, and Captain Na Seong-beom's multi-hit game elevated the momentum of the Tiger Army.

Manager Lee said after the game, "I didn't think we would win three in a row. I thought that if we won, we might be able to secure victory around Game 4 or 5. Our players were better prepared than expected in terms of physical stamina and concentration."

Manager Lee Beom-ho further stated, "In the Playoffs, we must play more enjoyable and exciting baseball than in the Junior Playoffs to win on momentum. Only then will we find strength we didn't know we had. Facing a strong team like the Samsung Lions, we will prepare well so that we can compete on equal footing."
