The tournament, held from the 16th to the 22nd at the Seogwipo Multi-Purpose Gymnasium in Seogwipo City, featured tournaments across four divisions: men's and women's under-18 (high school) divisions and men's and women's open divisions.

In the men's open division final, Gyeong Nam (CEO) Doosan defeated rival SK Hawks (Chungbuk) 26-22 to win the gold medal. With this victory, Doosan reclaimed the top spot at the National Sports Festival after three years, upholding the pride of a traditional powerhouse.
