Kim Do-young's autumn baseball, in which he excelled in offense, defense, and baserunning, is reaching a climax.

Chris FedEx, the Samsung starting pitcher who began with two consecutive strikeouts in the top of the first inning, was brought to his knees before Kim Do-young.

Kim Do-young, who showed determination by drawing a walk after a nine-pitch at-bat with two outs in the top of the first inning, stole second base starting from the first pitch of Castro's turn at bat.

He then scored on Castro's RBI hit through a savvy baserunning play, rattling the Samsung infield.

Kim Do-young contributed to his team's 5-1 victory with two hits in three at-bats, one walk, and one stolen base in Game 1 of the 2026 Shinhan SOL KBO Postseason Playoffs (best-of-five series) held on the 26th at Daegu Samsung Lions Park.
