Singer Sohyang acknowledged the harsh criticism of the "Golden" live stage.

Sohyang released a video titled "Interventionist God" on her YouTube channel on the 4th, and wrote in the explanation section, "Golden, I was so bad."

"But there I realize it again. This voice belongs to God. When I used it as I wanted, I had no choice but to be incompetent.' It was an opportunity to decide once again to be used as a tool of the Lord with humility," he said, expressing his enlightenment based on religious beliefs.

Earlier, Sohyang appeared on KBS's "2026 Countdown Show LIGHT NOW" on the 31st of last month and sang the OST "Golden" of the Netflix film "K-Pop Demon Hunters" with singers HYNN (Park Hye-won) and Young-bin. However, Sohyang showed a shaky pitch, perhaps due to the cold weather below zero, and even her specialty of high notes was said to be disappointing.

Sohyang's SNS also posted malicious comments saying, "I'm drunk on high-pitched mulberry and just scream," and Sohyang said, "I ruined everything. It's too bad for me, too," he said in a reply.

Meanwhile, Sohyang made her debut in 1996 and celebrated her 30th anniversary this year, and has established herself as a vocalist representing Korea in name and reality. He married his ex-husband, who worked with him as a CCM group POS, in 1998, but divorced in 2023 after 25 years. The agency said, "We decided to support each other's path based on sufficient dialogue and mutual respect with the other party," adding, "We inform you that it is not attributable to either party in the divorce process, but based on mutual agreement."
