Seo Hee-je (Shishidi), the younger brother of late Taiwanese star Seo Hee-won (Shish Xiyuan), thanked his brother-in-law, clone Koo Jun-yeop.

Seo Hee-je said on his SNS on the 4th, "I would like to thank my brother-in-law, Koo Jun-yeop. She designed a beautiful statue for my sister (Seo Hee-won). I hope that those who love her come here whenever they miss her, see her and talk to her. And I am also grateful to my precious relatives and friends who came to present a flower to my sister even in the rain. If the weather was sunny, it wouldn't have been my sister's style," he said.

"Whenever I'm in the depths of grief, I think about this," he said. "I'm glad that my brother-in-law Koo Jun-yeop was there for the last three years before my sister passed away." Someone who truly loves her sister, wants nothing, and covets nothing but love. I had a brother-in-law who protected my sister with a clean, pure, technique-free heart, and impurity, so I feel calm when I think about it. So I'm really grateful to my brother-in-law," he said, expressing his sincere gratitude to Koo Joon-yeop.

"My mom saw my sister's statue and said, 'Dude, you're reborn.' I believe that the hole that was pierced in my mother's heart was also filled up at last," he added.

Koo Joon-yeop and the late Seo Hee-won, who were lovers 20 years ago, dramatically reunited and married in 2022.

However, the late Seo Hee-won suddenly died of acute pneumonia complications caused by the flu during a trip to Japan with her family on Feb. 2 last year. The remains were moved from Japan to Taiwan after cremation.

Koo Joon-yeop recently held a statue unveiling ceremony featuring the late Seo Hee-won's death, and it is known that clone Kang Won-rae and Super Junior Choi Si-won were present at the ceremony.
