Choi Si-won, a member of the group Super Junior, pulled his sword out of the haters.

Earlier on the 19th, Choi Si-won posted the four-character idioms "Fire will die" and "to-bung-wah" on his Instagram. "Unjust will" means "If you are not righteous, you will be ruined," and "to collapse" means "completely collapsing like the soil collapses."

Analysts say that he may have expressed his position on Choi Si-won, who is known as a conservative, in a significant article posted on the day of his sentence to life imprisonment for former President Yoon Suk Yeol, who was indicted in connection with the December 3 emergency martial law incident. Choi Si-won did not express his position in this regard.

Choi Si-won's agency, SM Entertainment, recently said, "We have confirmed that we are continuously and repeatedly writing and posting malicious posts such as personal attacks and insults against our artists, and we are seriously aware of their seriousness," adding, "Based on the data collected through self-monitoring, we carefully reviewed the contents of the post and attached images, and submitted a complaint to the investigation agency with the law firm (limited) Sejong for confirmed criminal acts."

"We are continuously securing evidence for creating and distributing false information related to our artists on online communities and SNS platforms, and posting mocking and insulting posts, and we will expand the complaint process step by step after reviewing the posts," he said.

"In order to sternly deal with such illegal acts that cause great mental damage to artists and protect the rights and interests of their artists, we will respond strongly with civil and criminal legal measures without any leniency or agreement," he said. "As the collection, reporting, and legal response of such malicious posts continue to take place today, please be careful not to be involved in unpleasant things."

Hello, we're SM Entertainment.

We will inform you of the progress of legal action to protect the rights and interests of the artist Choi Si-won.

We have recently confirmed that we are continuously and repeatedly writing and posting malicious posts such as personal attacks and insults against our artists, and are seriously aware of their seriousness.

Based on the data collected through self-monitoring, the company carefully reviewed the contents of the post and attached images, and submitted a complaint to the investigative agency with Sejong Corporation (limited) for confirmed criminal acts.

We are also continuously securing evidence for creating and distributing false information related to our artists on online communities and SNS platforms, and posting mocking and insulting posts, and we will expand the complaint process step by step after reviewing the posts.

We reiterate that we will sternly respond with civil and criminal legal measures without any leniency or agreement in order to sternly deal with such illegal acts that cause great mental damage to artists and protect the rights and interests of their artists. The collection, reporting, and legal action of such malicious posts are still ongoing, so please be careful not to get involved in unsavoury things.

We will continue to do our best in all aspects by prioritizing the protection of the rights and interests of our artists.

Thank you.
