In "The Boss Has Donkey Ears," Chef Jung Ji-sun is surprised to learn that her 13-year-old son, Woo-hyung, spent 290,000 won in a month.

In the episode of KBS 2TV's "The Boss Has Donkey Ears" (hereinafter "Boss's Ears") airing on the 26th, the mother, Chef Jung Ji-sun, is shown reacting with shock to Woo-hyung's confession that he "spent too much money lately" and "used 290,000 won over the past month."

Chef Jung asked, "Where do you spend your money?" and then questioned how Woo-hyung could spend 300,000 won when his allowance is only 50,000 won. In response, Woo-hyung revealed, "I learned by watching my father trade stocks," and added, "I'm covering my spending gap with holiday allowance and stock profits," which raised Chef Jung Ji-sun's anger meter.

Chef Jung criticized Woo-hyung's economic sense, noting that he spends money without knowing where it goes, stating, "An elementary school student spending 300,000 won a month is overspending." Woo-hyung defiantly replied, "It wasn't 300,000 won; I spent 290,000 won." Chef Jung, with eyes wide open, retorted, "290,000 won or 300,000 won, it's the same," and proceeded to enforce discipline.

The two then engaged in a fierce debate on the topic of "the appropriate monthly allowance for an elementary school student." While Chef Jung Ji-sun argued for 50,000 won per month and Woo-hyung insisted on 200,000 won per month, a fiery exchange unfolded. The broadcast will reveal whether Jung Ji-sun can correct the spending habits of her 13-year-old son, Woo-hyung, who has entered puberty.

"The Boss Has Donkey Ears" airs every Sunday at 4:40 p.m.
