A man in his 40s who broke into actress Kim Gyu-ri's home and committed robbery has been arrested. Meanwhile, CCTV footage captured him fleeing immediately after the crime.

The Seoul Central District Court issued an arrest warrant for A, who is suspected of robbery and assault, on the 22nd. The court stated the reason for issuing the warrant was "there is a risk of flight."

A appeared in court on that day for a pre-arrest interrogation (substantive review of the warrant). In response to reporters' questions about his motive and whether there was prior planning, he repeatedly said, "I am sorry."

A is suspected of breaking into Kim Gyu-ri's home located in Bukchon Hanok Village, Jongno-gu, Seoul, around 9 p.m. on the 20th, demanding valuables, and assaulting Kim Gyu-ri and her companions. It is reported that Kim Gyu-ri suffered fractures and bruises during the incident.

At the time, Kim Gyu-ri and another woman inside the house escaped outside the house when A's guard became lax and asked passersby for help.

A, who then fled, turned himself in at a police station in Gangseo-gu, Seoul, about three hours later.

CCTV footage released by Channel A shows A running hurriedly without an umbrella in the rain. He was dressed entirely in dark colors, including a hat, top, pants, and sneakers, and was also captured dropping something from his hand while running up a hill.
