Actor Jo Seung-yeon reminisced about memories with IU and Byun Woo-seok.

On the 9th, Jo Seung-yeon posted a selfie taken with IU on his personal SNS, writing, "Words I couldn't say on a good day. You were so beautiful, Hee-ju."

Subsequently, Jo Seung-yeon also uploaded a selfie with Byun Woo-seok and Yoo Soobin, accompanied by the caption "Stylish ones~ The day we slapped cheeks," reminiscing about MBC's '21st Century Grand Duchess.'

In '21st Century Grand Duchess,' Jo Seung-yeon delivered a performance as Sung Hyun-guk, the father of IU (playing Seong Hee-ju) and Lee Jae-won (playing Sung Tae-ju), and the chairman of Castle Group.

It is natural to recall past moments with fellow cast members after a drama concludes, but some are debating the timing of releasing behind-the-scenes selfies, given that '21st Century Grand Duchess' is currently embroiled in a historical distortion controversy.

'21st Century Grand Duchess' faced criticism for scenes where ministers chanted "Cheon-se" (Long Live the King), a term used by vassal states, instead of "Man-se" (Long Live), the symbol of an independent nation, during the king's coronation ceremony, and for the king wearing a Guryu Myeonryugwan, a hat worn by Chinese ministers, rather than the Shimi Myeonryugwan worn by emperors of independent nations.

As the controversy intensified, IU and Byun Woo-seok, along with director Park Jun-hwa and writer Yoo Ji-won, issued tearful apologies.
