Singer and actor Park Ji-hoon revealed the preparation process for "Becoming the Legend of the Cook."

Park Ji-hoon's agency, YY Entertainment, posted a video titled "Park Ji-hoon (PARK JI HOON) - 'Becoming the Legend of the Cook' Preparation Process Behind the Scenes" on its YouTube channel on the 10th.

The video showed Park Ji-hoon learning military conduct for filming the TVING original "Becoming the Legend of the Cook," as well as practicing cooking as a cook.

He displayed a confident demeanor, demonstrating a salute and how to wear a beret.

When asked if there was an idol he would recommend for "Becoming the Legend of the Cook," Park Ji-hoon joked, "Park Ji-hoon? That guy seems fine. He's active as a solo artist and looks well-disciplined. Did he go to the military? He's very polite."

When asked where he would hope to be stationed if assigned, he said, "A mortar unit would be cool. An ace," while making gestures.

Park Ji-hoon spent a long time learning knife work and wok work as part of the cooking process.

He also showed himself cutting his hair short to resemble his character Kang Sung-jae in the drama. Park Ji-hoon said, "Don't I look friendly?" and "Why is the term 'potato boy' so funny?" while smiling awkwardly.

Meanwhile, "Becoming the Legend of the Cook" topped the weekly paid subscriber count on TVING for three consecutive weeks and, in its first week of release, surpassed 121.26 million cumulative total digital content views, boasting explosive popularity.
