While Lee Dong-gook's family sparked controversy by cheering loudly for the World Cup in the early hours, Lee's wife, Lee Soo-jin, continues her group purchase activities without offering any apology.

On the 9th, Lee Soo-jin shared on her personal account, "Thank you for the enthusiastic response to our group purchase event," and provided details about the group purchase-related promotions.

Lee Soo-jin stated, "I sincerely congratulate those who won, and we will return with even better benefits in the next group purchase."

However, she made no mention whatsoever of the recent controversy surrounding early morning noise.

Previously, on the 8th, Lee Soo-jin shared videos showing her family watching the 2026 FIFA North, Central America and Caribbean World Cup Round of 16 match between Argentina and Egypt.

The released video captured the family gathered in their living room to watch the game. According to the footage, the video was recorded at 3 a.m.

In the video, when Lionel Messi scored, their daughter shouted loudly, "He's crazy!" Their son, Si-an, also became highly excited, shouting loudly and even firing a toy gun toward the ceiling.

Another video showed the family cheering loudly after Argentina scored an additional goal. In particular, Si-an jumped off the sofa and rolled around on the floor. At this sight, Lee Soo-jin merely smiled and said, "Don't make so much noise," without taking any further action to stop them.

Upon the release of these videos, many netizens pointed out that the early morning noise could be a nuisance to neighboring residents.

Meanwhile, Lee Dong-gook married Miss Korea contestant Lee Soo-jin in 2005 and has four daughters and one son. The family previously appeared on KBS 2TV's parenting variety program "The Return of Superman."
