Singer and actress IU (33, real name Lee Ji-eun) and Lee Jong-seok have put a period to their four-year romance.

On this day, Lee Jong-seok's agency Ace Factory also told StarNews, confirming that "Lee Jong-seok has indeed broken up with IU."

It further added, "They have decided to remain good colleagues," and requested understanding, stating, "As it is a matter of personal privacy for the actor, we find it difficult to provide further answers."

IU and Lee Jong-seok had been in an open relationship since December 31, 2022. In particular, they drew even more attention by developing into a romantic couple after ten years, having first met as MCs for SBS music program 'Inkigayo' back in 2012. However, the two have ultimately returned to being colleagues after four years.
