Singer Jina celebrated her 16th debut anniversary by recalling her past activities.

On the 16th, Jina shared a video featuring her past performances and said, "Wow... it's already been 16 years since my debut. Thank you for still remembering me and staying by my side."

The video showed Jina performing on stage during her days as a popular singer.

Earlier, on the 15th, Jina posted a video on her Instagram with the caption "OMG! 16 years with my G.NI's." Alongside images of herself in Canada, she added, "It seems like it's already been 16 years since I released an album and debuted. Thank you to my fandom 'G.NI' for your support. I love you. Thank you," while making a heart gesture with her hands.

On the 13th as well, Jina shared, "Rather than thinking I should do well like before, today was about capturing who I am right now. Let's continue our story little by little."

Jina debuted in the music industry in 2010. She later received great love for hit songs such as "I'll Go Away and Live Well" and "Black & White."

However, she suspended her entertainment activities in March 2016 after being involved in a prostitution case in the United States. At the time, she claimed to have had a sexual relationship with a man introduced by an acquaintance but insisted it was unrelated to any financial transaction. She also explained that they met as mutual acquaintances who developed good feelings for each other. However, the court did not accept this explanation and sentenced her to a fine of 2 million won.

Later, in 2017, through her personal account, Jina clarified the prostitution case as "rumors," stating, "Although I was surrounded by many obstacles, emotional pain, and unending rumors, I did not give up thanks to fans who believed in and followed me."
