Actress Son Dam-bi has dispelled rumors that she abandoned her pet cat.

On the 15th, Son Dam-bi posted a video on her social media introducing a cooling pad from a brand.

In the video released that day, both Son Dam-bi and her pet dog Egon appeared, drawing attention.

Egon was seen lying beside Son Dam-bi, acting affectionate as if comfortable, or enjoying the cool pad, catching eyes. Son Dam-bi gazed at Egon with loving eyes and repeatedly stroked him.

Son Dam-bi couldn't take her eyes off Egon and expressed her affection, saying, "There's no kinder pet like this."

She continued, "He can't even show his claws," and when Egon let out a purr-like sound, she laughed, saying, "Oh my, Mr. Egon."

An acquaintance who filmed the video also said about Egon, "He's kinder than a cat."

Previously, Son Dam-bi became embroiled in abandonment rumors while introducing her newly moved-in home. Since Egon did not appear in the video, some netizens speculated, "Did she abandon her pet cat due to moving and childcare?"

As the controversy spread, Son Dam-bi denied the abandonment rumors through a YouTube channel video: "People keep asking where Goyang went. Would I have thrown him away? Lately, only babies appear in videos, so they keep asking where Goyang is. How much do I love (Egon)?"

Meanwhile, Son Dam-bi married former national speed skating team member Lee Kyu-hyuk in 2022 and has a daughter.
