Suri Cruise, daughter of Tom Cruise, has completely cut off contact with her father and even changed her surname.

According to U.S. entertainment outlet Page Six on the 27th (local time), Suri Cruise has legally changed her surname from Cruise to Noel.

Noel is the middle name of her mother, Katie Holmes Noel. It is reported that Suri Cruise changed her surname to express her affection for her mother.

Currently studying musical theater at Carnegie Mellon University in Pennsylvania, U.S., Suri Cruise registered her name as Suri Noel when she registered to vote in Pennsylvania last year. Since legal names must be used for voter registration in Pennsylvania, it appears that Suri Cruise has already completed the name change to Suri Noel.

Some speculate that Suri Cruise may have changed her name from Suri Cruise several years ago, before entering university.

Meanwhile, Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes married in 2006 and welcomed their daughter Suri that same year. Suri Cruise attracted global attention with her doll-like beauty. Later, Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes divorced in 2012, and it is reported that after the divorce, Suri lived in New York with her mother without any contact with her father, Tom Cruise.
