Actor Lee Jang-woo has kicked off his comeback to variety shows following the controversy.

On the 8th, as the final segment of KBS 2TV's 'Sallimnam' aired, a preview for next week was released featuring Lee Jang-woo, who is the cousin of Hwanhee. Lee Jang-woo carefully cared for his aunt Hwanhee's mother and spent joyful times camping together.

Lee Jang-woo held his wedding with actress Cho Hye-won on November 23 last year at Seoul Songpa-gu Jamsil Lotte Hotel World. Immediately after the marriage, he left MBC's 'I Live Alone,' which had been well-received, and met viewers again in April through 'Lee Jang-woo of the Countryside Village' Season 3.

However, he found himself at the center of controversy over unpaid supplies for his pork offal soup restaurant that operated under his name. A distributor who supplied pig by-products to Lee's restaurant claimed they had not received payment.

In response, Lee Jang-woo explained via his personal YouTube channel: "There were intermediary distributors and livestock farmers. We would receive meat from the distributors and pay them on a case-by-case basis. Then in September last year, we switched to another distributor, and the transaction ended." He added, "However, due to worsening business conditions at the intermediary distributor, they failed to pay the livestock farmer."

He continued, "The livestock farmer president misunderstood that I was operating the distributor," and stated, "So I contacted the livestock farmer president and cleared up all misunderstandings. I told him I would take moral responsibility for this incident, resolved any misunderstanding with the livestock farmer president, and have now settled all outstanding payments."

Following this controversy, Lee Jang-woo made his long-awaited return to variety shows through 'Sallimnam.' It remains to be seen whether he can win viewers' affection once again with his unchanged physique and cooking skills.
