Comedian Jung Cheol-kyu has come forward to clarify rumors surrounding a senior colleague he claimed bullied him persistently over the past six years.

Recently, Jung appeared on the YouTube channel 'Namumiki Investigation Agency' in a video titled "Six Years of Persistent Bullying, Drug Addiction, I Didn't Want to Live."

In the video, Jung stated, "A certain senior seemed to dislike me and told me not to be noticed whenever I entered the meeting room. They cursed at me every time they saw me for six years," adding, "I still remember how they would tremble when looking at me."

He continued, "During a 'Gag Concert' MT, when I said, 'If I did something wrong, I'll fix it,' they replied, 'You didn't do anything wrong. Just leave because I dislike you.' When Park Jun-hyung tried to intervene, saying, 'I don't like it. It's annoying,' they insisted, 'Everything I do is disliked.'"

While admitting he also visited a psychiatric hospital, Jung previously expressed gratitude by saying, "Rather than focusing on someone targeting me, please focus on the fact that I endured for my dreams."

As the controversy continued, Jung directly responded to comments on his recent SNS video post, stating, "Ryu Dam and No Woo-jin, as well as Senior Kim Jin-cheol, are frequently mentioned. To be clear, it is not them."

He explained, "Woo-jin is both a junior colleague and a close friend," and regarding Ryu Dam, added, "We have barely had any conversations."

On Kim Jin-cheol, he emphasized, "He never even scolded me, and we remain close friends to this day."

Jung further clarified, "The entire video focuses on the fact that I went through those past experiences, overcame them, and am now living happily and working hard," drawing a line against interpretations that highlight conflicts with certain individuals.
