As actor Ha Young (33, real name Ahn Ha-young) issued an apology regarding controversies over her great-grandfather Ahn Sang-ho's alleged collaboration with Japan during the colonial era, directors Lee Do-yoon of "Severe Trauma Center" and Hong Jong-chan of "True Education" drew attention by leaving likes.

On the 12th, Ha Young posted a handwritten apology on her Instagram: "I sincerely apologize for causing great disappointment and pain due to matters related to my great-grandfather. After learning about my great-grandfather Ahn Sang-ho's past actions recently, I have been reflecting on our family history with a heavy heart."

Ha Young's great-grandfather Ahn Sang-ho was confirmed to be listed as a member of the Daetong Friendship Association in 1916. This was a pro-Japanese organization established at the beginning of the Japanese colonial period, which included figures such as Yi Wan-yong. Furthermore, it is reported that her grandfather An Bu-ho (Prof.) worked at Sorokdo Hospital, where human rights violations occurred, further fueling controversy.

Among them, directors who previously collaborated with Ha Young clicked "like" to express their support, causing netizens to frown. Given that even the apology has been met with public indifference, the reason for the negative gaze directed at the likes left by Lee Do-yoon, director of the OTT Netflix series "Severe Trauma Center," and Hong Jong-chan, director of "True Education," is clear.
