YouTuber Honorary Brit (real name Baek Jin-kyung) shared her struggles during pregnancy ahead of delivery.

On the 24th, Baek Jin-kyung posted on her personal social media: "I can't sleep due to heartburn. Why is my digestion so poor? The acid reflux is painful. But in just three months, the baby will be born."

Baek Jin-kyung married her British husband, who is three years younger than her, in March 2023. She is currently pregnant and preparing to give birth to her first daughter in December.

However, she recently appeared on a YouTube channel and stated, "I plan to deliver the baby not in Korea but in the UK," sparking allegations of traveling abroad for childbirth.

In response, on the 12th, Baek Jin-kyung expressed anger: "Why is it such a big issue that I'm giving birth in the UK? My husband is British, and I live in London. What about those who say I'm doing this to get British citizenship?"

She further added, "The UK does not follow jus soli (birthright citizenship). Even if you give birth on British soil, at least one parent must be British to obtain citizenship. Jus soli applies only to the United States. It's truly strange and ridiculous for people to claim that I'm doing this so my 'Half Korean Half British' baby can get citizenship or something like that."
