Four years have passed since actress Yoo Ju-eun passed away.

Yoo Ju-eun passed away on August 29, 2022. She was 27 years old. The news of her death was announced through her family.

At the time, Yoo Ju-eun's older brother conveyed the news via her SNS, stating, "(Y)u-jeun has left this place and gone to a peaceful place."

In her suicide note, she expressed concern for her family: "I'm sorry for leaving first. Especially to my mom, dad, grandmother, and older brother, I am most sorry. My heart was screaming that it didn't want to live. Perhaps life without me will feel empty, but please live bravely anyway. I will be watching over you all. Don't cry. Take care of your health."

She continued, "I wanted to act so much. It may have been my everything and a part of me. But living that life was not easy. I didn't want to do anything else. That was too despairing. Realizing that having something you want to do is a blessing, but wanting only that thing is a curse."

She also wrote, "I lived until the end with memories I will never forget, so I feel like I had a successful life. Thank you for embracing and understanding me, who was lacking and impatient. I'm sorry for not expressing myself well. But I hope you understand my heart."

Adding, "I am so grateful and respectful to all the precious connections I made, especially my teachers. Thank you for teaching me so many things in life," leaving behind a sense of deep emotion.

Meanwhile, Yoo Ju-eun debuted in 2018 with the tvN drama 'Big Forest' and appeared in the TV Chosun drama 'Joseon Survival Guide' the following year.
