LE SSERAFIM's Hong Eun-chae showcased her 'victory fairy' persona by engineering a miracle for Doosan.

On August 29, Hong Eun-chae threw the ceremonial first pitch at the 2026 KBO League regular-season match between Doosan Bears and Kiwoom Heroes held at Seoul Jamsil Baseball Stadium, sharing in Doosan's 7-2 victory.

Hong Eun-chae participated as both ceremonial first pitcher and batter in four games, with her team winning every time, further cementing her 'victory fairy' title. When Doosan trailed by one run, Hong Eun-chae cheered from the stands to LE SSERAFIM's regular second album title track 'BOOMPALA,' after which Doosan successfully staged a comeback.

Hong Eun-chae previously watched Doosan secure a victory in a 2022 match against KT Wiz at Jamsil Stadium, where Kim Chae-won threw the ceremonial first pitch and Hong Eun-chae took the batting role. In March 2025, she served as the sole ceremonial first pitcher for Doosan Bears' home opener, with Doosan winning that game as well.

The same trend continued in Japan. On August 5, Hong Eun-chae threw the ceremonial first pitch at a match between Chiba Lotte Marines and Saitama Seibu Lions held at Chiba Zozo Marine Stadium, where Chiba Lotte Marines won 8-0.

Meanwhile, LE SSERAFIM will release their second single album 'Made My Night' on the 11th of next month. The album, featuring Kim Chae-won, Sakura, Huh Yun-jin, Kazuha, and Hong Eun-chae, captures a night made special through their unique chemistry. The music video will be unveiled first at midnight on the same day, followed by the audio track and physical album at 1 p.m.
