Actor Choi Hyun-wook has once again come under scrutiny for a precarious "drunk live" broadcast.

On the morning of the 30th, Choi Hyun-wook conducted a live broadcast via his personal SNS, engaging with fans worldwide.

However, despite the early hour, Choi appeared visibly intoxicated, raising concerns as he stood before the camera. He remarked, "Am I not too ugly right now? It's because I'm like a pig," while self-deprecating about his appearance. Despite fans' pleas to stop the broadcast while drunk, he continued with unrestrained remarks, saying, "All Koreans are asleep at this time. That's why no one will try to stop me."

Choi Hyun-wook's precarious personal conduct is not limited to this incident alone. Previously, he has repeatedly raised public fatigue through unrefined controversies.

In 2023, while smoking on Apgujeong Rodeo Street in Seoul, a video circulated showing him casually discarding cigarette butts onto the roadside next to the vehicle he was leaning against, drawing sharp criticism. Notably, the footage also captured Choi engaging warmly with two women and holding hands tightly with one of them, sparking rumors of a romantic relationship.

Prior to that, in 2022, a video surfaced showing him smoking while socializing with women at a club, leading to temporary controversy.

There was another shocking incident. In 2024, he posted an Instagram photo featuring a Bearbrick prop, but the surface of the prop reflected his full-body silhouette without underwear, resulting in a major exposure accident.

Realizing the issue, Choi quickly deleted the photo; however, it had already spread rapidly across various online communities and SNS platforms and remains widely cited as one of his representative "personal life black history" incidents.

Choi Hyun-wook is set to appear in the film "Vampire," a new work directed by Jang Jae-hyun and marking actor Yoo Ah-in's return following his role in "Drug Offender."
