'Angel of Charity' actress Shin Min-a is once again making headlines for her kindness.

Recently, a heartwarming post titled "3.7 billion won quietly withdrawn from Shin Min-a's bank account over 15 years" has gone viral on various online communities and social media platforms.

The post was written by a representative of the foundation, stating: "At first, I thought it was a mistaken deposit. Starting in 2009, large amounts were being transferred every month, and I later learned it was from Shin Min-a. She asked us not to reveal her identity and requested that the funds be used for treating burn victims and supporting study rooms for children from low-income families. Over 15 years, she has secretly donated more than 3.7 billion won. Truly, there is no one more like an angel."

In fact, Shin Min-a is widely recognized as one of the entertainment industry's most prominent angels of charity. Since 2009, her known cumulative donations have exceeded 4 billion won. Notably, during her wedding to actor Kim Woo-bin in December 2025, she generously donated a total of 300 million won to several institutions, including Hanlim Burned Injury Foundation, Seoul Asan Hospital, and Good Friends, setting an inspiring example.

In recent interviews with multiple media outlets, Shin Min-a shared her conviction: "In the past, I believed that good deeds should be done in secret. However, I've heard that when influential figures make donations, many more people are inspired to contribute as well. I believe it is right for those who have a bit of financial cushion to help others facing difficult and challenging circumstances. When this article was published, my only hope is that at least one person might be moved to think positively."
