Actor Ha Young (33, real name Ahn Ha-young) will ultimately exit the new season of 'Severe Trauma Center' due to the fallout from her ancestor's alleged collaboration with foreign powers.

Global OTT platform Netflix issued an official statement on the 1st morning to StarNews: "Out of respect for the actor's position, Ha Young has been decided not to appear in the sequel to 'Severe Trauma Center'."

Ha Young gained recognition playing nurse Cheon Jang-mi in Season 1 of Netflix's original series 'Severe Trauma Center', released last January. This led to her joining main cast members including Ju Ji-hoon for Seasons 2 and 3. However, recent revelations confirmed that Ha Young had frequently boasted about her great-great-grandfather Ahn Sang-ho being a member of a pro-Japanese collaboration organization during numerous variety shows and interviews, placing her at the center of controversy. Additionally, official local historical records from Gunpo City documented Ahn Sang-ho as a figure linked to the assassination plot against Emperor Gojong.

As a result of this fallout, Ha Young will proceed with exiting the new season of 'Severe Trauma Center', which is scheduled to begin filming in October.

Meanwhile, Ha Young is approaching the conclusion of filming for SBS's new drama 'There Is Hope' on the 3rd.
