YouTuber and internet broadcaster (BJ) Gwajub Seyeon (25, real name In Se-yeon), who has been formally charged by police on suspicion of using psychotropic drugs, is drawing attention for continuing her SNS activities until just before news of the charges broke.

According to police on the 1st, Seoul Gangnam Police Station non-detained Gwajub Seyeon in late July on suspicion of violating the Narcotics Control Act (psychotropic substances) and is currently investigating the case.

Gwajub Seyeon faces allegations of having taken sleeping pills classified as psychotropic drugs together with her boyfriend, BJ Kay (36, real name Park Jung-kyu), in mid-June.

Last month, when it became known that Kay had been formally charged for obtaining a prescription for sleeping pills on his behalf, he admitted during a personal live broadcast that he had undergone police investigation. Although only news of the investigation into Kay was initially reported, it was additionally confirmed today that Gwajub Seyeon also came under police scrutiny alongside him.

Just before this news broke, attention also turned to the social media activity of Kwajub Seyeon. On the 31st of last month, Kwajub Seyeon posted several recent photos on her social media along with a brief caption: "A short haircut."

The released photos showed Gwajub Seyeon with a bright-colored bob hairstyle. She appears to be enjoying her daily life as usual. Even while non-detained, she has been communicating with netizens just as before.

Meanwhile, Gwajub Seyeon and Kay publicly announced their romantic relationship in April. Gwajub Seyeon previously appeared on the Netflix original variety show 'The Influencer,' while Kay currently holds approximately 700,000 YouTube subscribers.
