Rapper Yang Hong-won has been embroiled in affair suspicions after it was revealed that he stayed at a motel with another woman just five days after his wedding. Amid the controversy, stories are spreading that he called out his wife's name during a club performance the very next day.

On the 24th, videos were posted on online communities such as OnLINE showing Yang Hong-won performing at a club and singing "Come back to me, Hyeon-ju." Although these lyrics are part of the original song, the incident has drawn attention after it became known that he sang them this way following the spread of affair allegations and reports that he and his wife had unfollowed each other on social media.

Previously, Yang Hong-won was caught up in affair suspicions just five days after holding his wedding ceremony. A person identified as an acquaintance of Yang Hong-won, referred to as A, exposed the affair suspicions via social media, stating, "A newlywed groom who just got married went to a motel with a woman. Isn't this wrong?"

As the controversy spread, Yang Hong-won's agency, AP Alchemy, refuted the claims in an official statement, saying, "The accuser's claims are contrary to the facts, and the materials provided are maliciously edited results."

While acknowledging that Yang Hong-won accompanied a woman to a motel, the agency stated, "The accuser demanded that he go to a specific motel designated by her," explaining, "He went to the motel in a state of heavy intoxication to find a place to sleep, and the woman, who had nowhere else to go, reluctantly accompanied him." The agency further claimed, "The artist fell asleep as soon as he entered the room," adding, "The woman tried to wake the sleeping artist but asked the accuser for help, after which she went home with the accuser."

Additionally, the agency emphasized that there was no significant conversation during the drinking session and that no intimate acts occurred in the room, denying the affair allegations.

The agency claimed that A threatened Yang Hong-won and the woman to extort money. It also revealed that Yang Hong-won and the woman have filed complaints against A for extortion, violation of the Stalking Punishment Act, and defamation through false statements.

Amid this, as of the 24th, all previous posts on Won Hyeon-ju's Instagram account had disappeared. The photo posted in her profile was also deleted, leaving only the phrase "No posts" on the account. It has been confirmed that Yang Hong-won and Won Hyeon-ju are currently not following each other on their respective Instagram accounts. Neither person's account can be found in the other's follow list.

Yang Hong-won and Won Hyeon-ju, who held their wedding ceremony on the 18th, found themselves at the center of controversy as rumors of Yang Hong-won's affair spread less than a week after the event.

Meanwhile, Yang Hong-won and model-turned-actress Won Hyeon-ju held their wedding ceremony on the 18th. The couple announced the birth of their daughter in November 2024 and has been sharing glimpses of their family life through their YouTube channel, "Yang Hong-won's Parenting Diary."
