Broadcaster Jang Sung-kyu suddenly revealed his own memorial photo.

On the 4th, Jang posted a single image on his personal social media, stating, "I stopped by a photography studio during today's recording and had my memorial photo taken."

The photo shows a formal portrait of Jang Sung-kyu facing the camera, wearing a neat navy KARA shirt over a white inner layer, with a faint smile. With his hair neatly combed back and glasses adding an intellectual touch, he gazes at the lens with a solemn and gentle expression—quite different from the playful demeanor he typically displays on variety shows.

The fact that the photo was indeed intended as a memorial image evoked strange emotions in viewers. Jang also candidly added, "Taking a memorial photo felt... oddly sad. I want to live long and healthy," revealing the heavy feelings he experienced while preparing for death in advance.

Jang married fellow elementary school classmate Lee Yu-mi in early May 2014 and has two sons. In 2021, he purchased a building in Cheongdam-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul, for 6.5 billion won. The current market value of the property is reported to exceed 10 billion won.
