Geuri (real name Kim Dong-hyun), son of broadcaster Kim Gura, directly refuted misunderstandings surrounding his stepmother.

On the 4th, a video titled "I will clarify all doubts raised so far" was released on Geuri's YouTube channel.

That day, Geuri began by saying, "It seems many of you have misunderstandings or questions, so I decided to hold a Q&A session. There were too many malicious comments about my stepmother."

He continued, "Not everything shown on broadcasts is the whole story. When I visit home, she even gives me juice and cake. She never sends me away empty-handed. Cameras are also rolling, and I refused all of them because I didn't want my mother to unnecessarily appear in the frame."

Geuri emphasized, "That place is actually our house where I can come and go freely. Most importantly, I feel no sadness at all."

Geuri often exchanges messages with his stepmother. He stated, "We contacted each other the day before yesterday. Since my stepmother likes alcohol, I recently gave her some as a gift, and she replied with the message, 'You drink so well, son.' There are absolutely no problems between us."

Meanwhile, Kim Gura divorced his former wife in 2015 and remarried in December 2020 to a non-celebrity woman 12 years younger than him. They now have a daughter together.
