Broadcaster Jang Seong-gyu showed compassion toward Nepal.

On the 5th, Jang Seong-gyu posted proof of his donation of 2 million won to Nepal on his Instagram, stating, "I sent a small heart. It was partly because there is a limit, but above all, I wanted it to be conveyed solely to Nepal."

He continued, "I wanted to send my heart through Dolgodonation, which aims to create a transparent donation culture. I hope Nepal returns to normalcy as soon as possible," offering comfort to Nepal, which suffered the worst disaster.

Last month, Jang Seong-gyu also showed concern via an SNS post saying, "I am communicating with a friend in Nepal, and the situation is too serious... I hope there will be no greater damage... I hope they can regain their daily lives soon."

Recently, a large-scale disaster occurred due to massive floods in Nepal and Tibet. It was suggested that this flood may have been caused by climate change in the Himalayas due to global warming, leading to the collapse of enormous glaciers and rocks.

According to Nepal's Disaster Management Department, as of the 5th, the number of deaths in Nepal has risen to 1,344. Including at least 31 more deaths in China's Tibet Autonomous Region, the total death toll reached 1,375. The number of missing persons totaled 5,531, with 5,000 in Nepal and 531 in China.
