Kangta reflected on the 30th anniversary of H.O.T.'s debut.

On the 7th, Kangta posted a photo on his Instagram account with the message "#hotforever #30thbirthday". He shared what appears to be a photo taken during H.O.T.'s promotional period for "We're Going to Be Annoyed Again Today," evoking nostalgia among fans.

Kangta debuted as H.O.T. on September 7, 1996, alongside Moon Hee-joon, Tony An, Jang Woo-hyuk, and Lee Jae-won. Following the debut track "Children of the Warrior" from their first full album "We Hate All Kinds of Violence," they achieved a phenomenon-level popularity with the follow-up song "Candy."

Subsequently, they released numerous hit songs including "Happiness," "We Are The Future," "Our Vow," "Light," "Aiya!," and "Outside Castle." However, H.O.T. officially disbanded in 2001, leaving their young female fans behind. Later, the five members reunited during a special episode of MBC's "Infinite Challenge" titled "Toto-ga 3: H.O.T." in 2018, bringing tears and emotion to viewers.

Although Kangta could not reunite with his fellow members to commemorate the 30th anniversary of their debut, he is celebrating with fans and spending a meaningful time together.

Meanwhile, Kangta has been in an open relationship with actress Jung Yoo-mi for six years.
