Ko Young-wook, a former member of the group Rula, made remarks that seemed to express his dislike for humans.

On the 9th, Ko Young-wook posted a message and photo on his X (formerly Twitter) account stating, "I'm sick of humans..."

The released photo shows a screenshot from an old interview broadcast with Hollywood actor Tom Hardy. The image includes subtitles where Tom Hardy responds to the question, "Do you like dogs more than people?" with "Yes, absolutely."

Recently, Ko Young-wook faced public criticism for making remarks targeting actors Lee Min-jung and Lee Byung-hun as a couple, actress Park Ha-sun, comedians Jang Do-yeon and Jang Dong-min, singers Lee Chan-won and Bibi, actress Lee Ji-hye, broadcasters Yoo Jae-suk, Shin Dong-yup, Lee Sang-min, Tak Jae-hoon, and former basketball player Seo Jang-hoon.

Meanwhile, Ko Young-wook was sentenced to two years and six months in prison in 2013 on charges of sexually assaulting a minor. At the time, he was also ordered to have his personal information publicly disclosed for five years and to wear an electronic ankle bracelet for three years—the first such order for a celebrity. After his release, he attempted to resume activities through Instagram and YouTube, but these efforts failed due to his criminal record involving sexual offenses.
