Broadcaster Hong Jin-kyung discovered new facts through a brain scan.

On the 10th, a video titled "Is Hong Jin-kyung's Memory Okay as It Is?" was uploaded to her YouTube channel 'Study King Real Genius Hong Jin-kyung'.

That day, Hong Jin-kyung visited a hospital in the United States operated by Associate Professor Lee Jin-hyung of Stanford University.

Hong Jin-kyung told Professor Lee, "They said even an MRI scan showed normal results. I clearly feel my memory is significantly declining, but (the results are different), so it was very frustrating."

Afterward, Hong Jin-kyung underwent a brain scan. The neurologist in charge of her examination diagnosed, "The test results showed abnormalities in certain areas. Problems such as depression were detected."

He further explained, "Depression can also affect memory. If it worsens, more serious issues could arise."

In response, Professor Lee added to Hong Jin-kyung, "It is not a very serious condition, but some values were found to be slightly outside the normal range."

He then stated, "A few abnormal signals were detected in circuits related to memory. There are slight issues with depression and memory."
