Maddox, the eldest son of Hollywood actress Angelina Jolie, has legally removed his father Brad Pitt's surname.

According to recent reports from U.S. entertainment media Page Six on the 14th (local time), a Los Angeles court recently approved Maddox's name change application. As a result, his legal name was changed from "Maddox Chivan Jolie-Pitt" to "Maddox Chivan Jolie."

Prior to Maddox, in 2024, his younger sister Shiloh officially received approval to remove the "Pitt" surname, and this time Maddox has also had that surname completely removed.

Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt have six children together: Maddox, Pax, Zahara, Shiloh, Knox, and Vivian. However, as the two divorced, their relationship with Brad Pitt grew distant.

Maddox enrolled in Yonsei University's Underwood International College in 2019, drawing significant attention in Korea at the time.
