Jang Sung-gyu, who finished broadcasting archery coverage for the 2026 Aichi-Nagoya Asian Games, shared his heartfelt impressions.

On the 3rd, Jang posted on his personal SNS, "I was able to conclude my four-day journey with the news of athlete Lee Woo-seok winning a double crown. I will use the closing remarks I made on today's broadcast as a substitute for my reflections."

He added, "The moment the last arrow left my fingertips and deeply pierced the target, the tense four-day journey came to an end in a cozy silence. From the moments of tension where we had to hold our breath at even the slightest breeze, to the dazzling joy encountered at the center of the target, what archery offered us was not merely victory or defeat, but a profound and passionate emotion that will linger deeply in our hearts for a long time."

Jang Sung-gyu, who handled archery coverage on KBS alongside commentator Ki Bo-bae, shared his impressions as he concluded the games on the 3rd: "I bow my head to express deep gratitude to all members of the national team, including athlete Lee Woo-seok, who completed a magnificent match with beautiful fighting spirit. I will now step back."

Thanks to Jang, KBS's archery broadcast achieved the top viewership rating. He revealed his satisfaction with both the ratings and the buzz by posting, "I thought there was no way I would appear on KBS News unless I used drugs, but I actually made it onto the 9th PM News, and for a good reason."

After finishing his schedule, he shared an airport photo along with the message, "Straight to the airport right after the broadcast. I want to hug my sons. Ha-ju-ni and Ye-ju-ni, wait up. Zooming off to meet my family after 5 days ♡ #ExcitedGram," expressing his affection for his family.
