One year has passed since the late YouTuber Daeseosang (real name Na Dong-hyun) passed away, and a video of his 49th-day memorial service was recently released.

On the 4th, a video titled “[Daeseosang’s 49th-Day Memorial] Uploading memories from that time, albeit belatedly” was posted on the YouTube channel “DaeseosangTV.”

The released video captured the scene of the late Daeseosang’s 49th-day memorial service held at a pharmacy on October 23 last year.

Along with the video, subtitles read, “We upload these memories from that time, albeit belatedly, filled with regret for not being able to show it live at the time and gratitude to everyone who joined in prayer.”

Many people gathered at the 49th-day memorial service to honor Daeseosang’s spirit. The video also captured scenes of letters written by his fans being burned alongside photos of Daeseosang.

Daeseosang was found dead at his home in Gwangjin-gu, Seoul, around 8:40 a.m. on September 6, 2025. He was 46 years old at the time of his death.

According to police, they responded to a report from an acquaintance stating that Daeseosang had not shown up for an appointment and could not be reached by phone, only to confirm his death. No suicide note or signs of foul play were found at the scene.

Following his sudden death, an autopsy was conducted to determine the exact cause of death. According to findings from the National Forensic Service (NFS), cerebral hemorrhage was identified as the cause.

His ex-wife and YouTuber Yumdaeng (real name Lee Chae-won) served as the head mourner. Yumdaeng and the late Daeseosang married in 2015 but divorced in 2023, eight years after their wedding.

Daeseosang was a first-generation internet broadcaster who operated as a YouTuber with 1.46 million subscribers. He also appeared on various variety shows, including JTBC’s “Ran-sun Life,” Netflix’s “The Influencer,” and tvN Story’s “Find Super K.”
