Members Nam Seung-mo and Park Seok-jun of the group 82MAJOR (Nam Seung-mo, Park Seok-jun, Yoon Ye-chan, Jo Sung-il, Hwang Seong-bin, Kim Do-gyun) are set to recite literary works from textbooks.

Nam Seung-mo and Park Seok-jun will directly read and convey major works featured in high school literature textbooks through the audio learning content "Literature from Textbooks Told by Idols," released on October 7 by the Ministry of Education and EBS.

Nam Seung-mo will recite "The Tale of Lee Sun-gyu," a Kim Si-seup-ui (CEO) work included in "Kim-o Shin-hwa," Korea's first collection of Hanmun (Classical Chinese) novels. It is a representative biographical novel dealing with the eternal and pure love between a man and a woman that remains unbroken even before the harsh trials of the Red Turban Rebellion and death. Nam Seung-mo, who has experienced the power of stories that transcend culture and language while communicating with fans around the world, is expected to vividly depict Lee Sun-gyu's poignant reunion and tragic parting with Lady Choi.

Park Seok-jun will share "Gwanghwamun, Winter, Fire, Tree" by poet Lee Moon-jae, who has gazed deeply into the dark shadows of modern civilization through profound language. This poem, which views the tens of thousands of small light bulbs decorating the street trees at Seoul's Gwanghwamun intersection with a unique perspective, is a work that prompts reflection on environmental issues and the order of nature hidden behind splendor. Park Seok-jun is expected to evoke empathy by drawing parallels between the work and his experiences of the bright nightscapes of numerous cities encountered during world tours and the lights pouring down on stage.

"Literature from Textbooks Told by Idols," featuring 82MAJOR's Nam Seung-mo and Park Seok-jun, is part of the "Idol Audio Class" series released by the Ministry of Education and EBS. It is an audio learning content in which K-pop artists directly read 30 major works from high school literature textbooks and convey the meanings and appreciation points contained in the works along with approachable explanations. This time, it captures stories of love that transcend time and space hundreds of years ago to questions about the urban civilization and ecosystem we stand on today, all through the voices of Nam Seung-mo and Park Seok-jun.

82MAJOR recently achieved career highs in album sales and music charts with activities for the title track "Like Fire" from their second single "HEAT," and secured their first music show No. 1 trophy since debut.

Following awards at various ceremonies, they are continuing their trend-setting momentum by proving their status as a "performance-type idol group" through their recent participation in "Idol Radio Live in Kuala Lumpur" held in Malaysia.

Meanwhile, 82MAJOR will meet fans with their sixth solo concert, "82CLUB : out of control," to be held on October 24 and 25 at the Yes24 Live Hall in Gwangjin District, Seoul.
